Using this guide you will be able to assemble a Biodata Sonification device on a simple solderless Breadboard. This guide is intended for Workshops, students, and DIY builders. You can find kits in my store linked above! After following these instructions you will have a functional Biodata Sonification Device! You can further your build by soldering the kit together, see my video guide.
In this simple breadboard circuit there are 11 jumper wires and 10 components!! Using a 555 timer, we first build the Biodata circuit, which detects microcurrent fluctuations across the surface of a plant’s leaf. This Bio-Signal is sent into an Adafruit ESP32 Feather (Huzzah) where the changing electrical signal is translated into Musical Notes which can be used with MIDI synthesizers and sent over Bluetooth to phones and computers!
